Conclusion



        

               At last! I am writing the last entry which is the conclusion. Thanks to Allah that really give me a strength and perseverance to woke up and complete this assignment. In good conscience, I feel thankful after I am finishing this most recent entry. If you guys want to know honesty, honestly this topic has completely exposed me myself more to love my lovely Malaysia. Basically, during my time struggle to find all the sources in order to gain more knowledge about Malaysia. I found a lot interesting things inside Malaysia such as their culture and ethnic, place visit, history and much more. I myself can improve my knowledge about the diversity of culture and traditions inside Malaysia.

          

               I hope the objectives that I have stated earlier in my introduction entry will be completely reached with the existence of this blog. Malaysia or also known as “Tanah Melayu” long ago is a Southeast Asian nation that located on strategic sea-lane that disclosures it to global trade and foreign culture. But, it was the British who, after primarily founding bases at Jesse ton, Kuching, Penang and Singapore, eventually secured their domination across the territory that is now Malaysia.
           


During World War II, Japanese attack has ended British domination in Malaysia. A hard military response was required to end the revolution and take about the establishment of an independent, multi-racial Federation of Malaya on 31 August 1957. Against this setting, independence for the Federation within the Commonwealth was approved on 31 August 1957, with Tunku Abdul Rahman as the first prime minister of Malaysia.

World Tallest ‘Twin’ Buildings Located in Malaysia




Petronas Towers



The Petronas Towers are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur. The Petronas Towers were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 and are still considered as the world’s tallest 'twin' buildings. These towers are one of the most admirable buildings in the world, Petronas Twin Towers sport unique and suave architecture. It cost US $1.2 billion to build Petronas Towers.

The towers were designed by Argentine - North American architect César Pelli. Pelli have chosen a distinctive postmodern style to generate a 21st-century icon for Malaysia. The construction of the framework started on 1 April 1994. The Towers was formally opened by the Prime Minister of Malaysia's Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad on 1 August 1999. The 88-floor towers are built largely of covered concrete, with a steel and glass facade planned to be similar to ideas found in Islamic art as reflection of Malaysia's Muslim religion. 







Penang Second Bridge is The Longest Bridge in Southeast Asia.

                The Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge or Penang Second Bridge is a dual roadway toll bridge in Penang, Malaysia. It is the second bridge to connection the island to the mainland after the first Penang Bridge. The total distance of the bridge is 24 km with distance over water at 16.9 km, making it the longest bridge in Malaysia and the longest in Southeast Asia.



                   The Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge is planned and designed basically based on the double "S" curvy outstanding idea to the geological reasons.
