A Famosa "The Famous" in Portuguese is a fortress located in Malacca, Malaysia. It is among the eldest remaining European architectural leftovers in south East Asia. The Porte de Santiago, a small entrance house, is the only part of the fortress which still leftovers today.


In 1511, a Portuguese armada reached in the command of Afonso de Albuquerque. His forces take on and defeated the armies of the Malacca. Moving rapidly to unite his gains, Albuquerque had the fortress built from place to place a natural hill close the sea.

The Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum is a museum located in Malacca City, Malacca, Malaysia. The building is a modern renovation of the palace of the Malacca Sultanate. It display case the history of the region. The museum structure was constructed in 1984 and developed to be a cultural museum. The museum was formally opened on 17 July 1986 by Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.

The Malacca Sultanate Palace is basically a replica of the construction which was made by the already destroyed sultanate of Malacca. In the present day, the palace is the home of the Cultural Museum which rejoices the Malay side of the Malacca's history. The museum showcases more than 1300 items of Malacca's historical.








George Town, Penang

Named after Britain's King George III, George Town is located on the north-east corner of Penang Island. George Town was founded on 11 August 1786 by Francis Light, a dealer for the British East India Company, as base for the company in the Malaya. The historic profitable center was segmented into the banking and trading zones related to port events which included shipping businesses, the import and export, and the traders who control the southern section of Beach Street until now.
