Crystal clear waters of Redang Island

This beautiful island is located 45km off the coast of Kuala Terengganu, is the major of a group of nine secure islands spotting the South China Sea off the Terengganu coast. The island compromises crystal clear waters and plentiful dive sites for fanatics. Protected within the Pulau Redang Marine Park, the waters here are fully gorgeous in marine life. At noontime when sun rays spear the sea, bright kinds of coral, anemones and marine life can be seen clearly.

The seawaters about this island also enclose two historical shipwrecks: The H.M.S. Prince of Wales and H.M.S. Repulse, which sank here at the beginning of World War II, location the period for the Japanese living of Malaya.
