Malaysia is ranked 9th in the world and 1st in Southeast Asia for tourist arrivals. In early 1999, Malaysia launched a global promotion campaign called "Malaysia, Truly Asia" which was mostly successful and took in over 7.4 million tourists.


Why travel to Malaysia? As one of Southeast Asia’s top travel destinations, Malaysia keeping an endless range of fascinations and happening activities that provide for the international shopper, cultural fanatic, historical buff and nature-lover.



Malaysia is a very exciting and pleasant nation to visit. At a distance from being a wealthy nation, it has people from diverse religions background and cultures co-existing as one on this attractive land. Though the biggest religion here is Islam you will also find Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Christians and people of other religions exist in Malaysia. As its hugely popular promotional determination boasts, Malaysia is certainly "truly Asia." A rich mixture of interesting peoples, historical places, modern prospects, wild environments and postcard-perfect beaches, Malaysia's variety of attractions offers something to just about every tourist.
